Hammer crusher is a crushing machine for all kinds of stones like cobble, granite, basalt, iron ore, limestone, quartz stone, dolerite and so on , and more than half of its output powder particle size is higher than 3 mm. It is commonly applied in so many industrial fields, such as metallurgy, cement, mine, ceramics and etc..
Now let's have a look at the working principle of the equipment.
The rotor which is the main part of
hammer crusher, is composed of a main spindle, a disc, a pin shaft, and a hammer. During the process of operating, the motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed in the crushing chamber. The material is sent from the upper feeding port to the machine, and is crushed by the impact, shear and grinding of the hammer which is moving at high speed. A sieve plate is arranged at the bottom of the rotor. After crushing, the material that is smaller than the size of the sieve will be discharged through the sieve plate, and the material larger than the size of the sieve remains on the sieve plate.
What’s the performance characteristics of hammer mill?
The bearing box of hammer mill is made of cast steel, and each axle box is fixed with four screws. This design has changed the major safety hazard of the previous generation this machine because of the looseness of the screws caused by the wear of the bearing box. Besides, this mill is equipped with two sets of rotors connected in series, conveying materials through the conveyor to the inlet of the machine.
